Job Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will:

  • Perform installation and repairs of production equipment as needed.
  • Diagnose and repair breakdowns efficiently to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct breakdown analysis and implement solutions to improve performance.
  • Upgrade production lines with new equipment and advanced technology.
  • Document work schedules, tasks completed, and maintenance activities.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements without exception.
  • Coordinate with all departments to schedule and perform maintenance tasks.
  • Assist in developing and improving maintenance processes with other teams.
  • Audit equipment and develop replacement part lists for inventory management.
  • Respond to equipment emergencies and perform preventive maintenance (PMs) during operations or scheduled downtime.
  • Maintain an up-to-date list of all production equipment.

Qualifications & Skills

To be successful in this role, candidates should have:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in manufacturing maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience with equipment such as chillers, blowers, compressors, vacuum equipment, incinerators, valves, actuators, PLCs, and control panels.
  • Familiarity with FIIX Software (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to install and repair a variety of electrical equipment, including generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, and conduit systems.

Salary Range: $28.00 to $38.00 per hour depending on experience.

Work Schedule:

  • Days: Monday through Thursday
  • Shift Duration: 10 hours per day
  • Hours: 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM
